Wayne Bogart, of TMW & Associates to conduct a Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study (SS/NLS) for the property at 2454 Teepee Drive, Stockton, <br /> California. <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's (EHD) Soil Suitability Study Requirements <br /> Checklist, dated September 25, 2007, and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist, dated <br /> — July 14, 2003. <br /> 1.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> 1.1 Introduction and Proposed Development <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work <br /> included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by <br /> San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, geologic <br /> maps, and groundwater information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use <br /> with a septic system. <br /> — 1.1.1 Site Description <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 132-08-009. The parcel is approximately 2.2 <br /> acres in size (Plate 1). The Site is under construction for a new 900 square foot office to <br /> facilitate a trucking company with three permanent on-site employees and truck parking. The <br /> parcel land use is zoned industrial. <br /> According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Stockton West Quadrangle 7.5 Minute <br /> topographic map (revised 2012), the elevation of the Site is thirty-five feet above mean sea <br /> level.
