If Human burials are found to be of Native American origin, steps shall <br /> be taken pursuant to Section 15064.5(e)of Guidelines for California Environmental Quality <br /> Act. <br /> m) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following California Building Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in <br /> the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading permit issued by the <br /> Building Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material: <br /> (2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R., Title <br /> 24). <br /> (3) The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (A) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close <br /> as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> (B) Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the"tow away" sign at <br /> each entrance or visible from each space(C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> (C) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> (D) Provide one van parking space. <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer that were included in the soils report <br /> shall be incorporated in the construction drawings. <br /> 1. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS(Staff Contact: Alex Chetley, 468-3000) <br /> a. An encroachment permit shall be required for all work within the road right-of-way. Driveway <br /> encroachment permits are for flatwork only. All vertical features, including but not limited to <br /> fences, walls, private light standards, rocks, landscaping, and cobbles are not allowed in the <br /> right-of-way. (Development Title Sections 9-1145.4 and 9-1145.5) <br /> b. The driveway approaches shall be improved in general accordance with the requirements of <br /> San Joaquin County Standards Drawing No's CW-11 or CW-12 and shall be constructed to <br /> accommodate STAA trucks prior to issuance of the occupancy permit. Proposed driveway <br /> approaches shall align with existing driveway approaches on the west side of Thornton <br /> Road. (Development Title Section 9-1145.5) <br /> c. Signing and striping shall be installed to adequately convey the following intended driveway <br /> operations: <br /> (1) One-way, trucks only entering the middle driveway. <br /> (2) Two-way, trucks only entering/exiting the northerly-most driveway. <br /> Plans and specifications shall be submitted with the final site plan for review and approval <br /> prior to the release of building permits. <br /> d. On-site pedestrian facilities including ADA compliant facilities(including but not limited to <br /> walkways, signing, and striped walkways) shall be installed to enhance the pedestrians' <br /> visibility to on-site motor vehicles(both truck and passenger cars)and to downplay and <br /> potentially restrict the internal connection between the truck and passenger car areas, and <br />
