(Development Title Section 1022.4[d][2]) <br /> k) SIGNS: All portions of any sign shall be set back a minimum of five (5)feet from any future right-of-way line, <br /> including any corner cut-off(snipe). (Development Title Section 9-1710.2[g]) <br /> 1) CULTURAL RESOURCES: If, in the course of development, concentrations of prehistoric or historic-period <br /> materials are encountered, all work in the vicinity of the find shall halt until an archaeologist can evaluate the <br /> materials and make recommendations for further action. If human remains are encountered, all work shall halt <br /> in the vicinity and the County Coroner shall be notified immediately. At the same time, a qualified <br /> archaeologist shall be contacted to evaluate the finds. If Human burials are found to be of Native American <br /> origin, steps shall be taken pursuant to Section 15064.5(e)of Guidelines for California Environmental Quality <br /> Act. <br /> m) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following California Building Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a grading permit issued by the Building <br /> Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth material: <br /> (2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> (3) The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (A) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close as possible to the <br /> primary entrance(C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> (B) Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the"tow away"sign at each entrance or <br /> visible from each space (C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> (C) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> (D) Provide one van parking space. <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer that were included in the soils report shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction drawings. <br /> 1. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (Staff Contact: Alex Chetley,468-3000) <br /> a. An encroachment permit shall be required for all work within the road right-of-way. Driveway encroachment <br /> permits are for flatwork only. All vertical features, including but not limited to fences, walls, private light <br /> standards, rocks, landscaping, and cobbles are not allowed in the right-of-way. (Development Title Sections <br /> 9-1145.4 and 9-1145.5) <br /> b. The driveway approaches shall be improved in general accordance with the requirements of San Joaquin <br /> County Standards Drawing No's CW-11 or CW-12 and shall be constructed to accommodate STAA trucks <br /> prior to issuance of the occupancy permit. Proposed driveway approaches shall align with existing driveway <br /> approaches on the west side of Thornton Road. (Development Title Section 9-1145.5) <br /> c.
