However,
the rapid speed with which it is occurring will allow us to only make generalized comments at
this point. Specifically, we were not provided with a copy of the Final EIR until we contacted
the County's outside CEQA counsel on Friday, December 14th to advise that the Final EIR was
not available on the County's website and that we had not otherwise received a copy of the Final
EIR. Staff posted the Final EIR on the County's website on the afternoon of Friday,December
14, 2012. We greatly appreciate that prompt response. However, as a result,we have had less
than three business days to review the Final EIR. To complicate matters,as is customary for this
time of year, our traffic consultant is unavailable to provide comment on the Final EIR at this
time given his previous engagements and a pre-planned trip out of the country commencing after
Christmas. Accordingly, we request this matter be continued to the January 19,2013 Planning
Commission meeting. In the event you decline this request,we have the following comments.
Comments on the Final EIR
It appears that the comments on the Draft EIR we provided to Rick Griffin on November
13,2012 have been wholly dismissed.
