k. BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans <br /> before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) A grading plan shall be submitted by the applicant, and it shall be approved and a grading permit <br /> issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material. <br /> (2) The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> A. Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close as <br /> possible to the primary entrance(C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> B. Provide identification signs for the parking space(s), including the "tow away" sign at each <br /> entrance or visible from each space(C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> C. The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 114 inch per foot(C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> D. Provide one van parking space. <br /> (3) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements(C.C.R.,Title 24) (Uniform <br /> Plumbing Code,Table 4-1). <br /> I. UNIFORM FIRE CODE The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: <br /> A. Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code(public water mains). <br /> (2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and <br /> the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and <br /> the California Electrical Code. <br /> (3) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (4) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire departments instructions. <br /> (5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of <br /> Volume 2. <br /> (6) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property (C.F.C.
