See description of the map unit for <br /> composition and behavior characteristics of the map unit. <br /> Soil Borings <br /> On October 26, 2015, Live Oak excavated a shallow soil boring on each proposed <br /> parcel of the Site for the purpose of conducting percolation tests. The borings were four <br /> inches in diameter, 3.30, 3.35, and 3.40 feet deep, and were excavated by hand auger <br /> (Table 2). The locations of the borings are indicated on Plate 11. <br /> The soil in the borings was similar to that described by the Soil Survey. At location P1, <br /> dark brown clay was encountered to a depth of two feet, followed by fine, brown sand. <br /> At locations P2 and P3, dark brown clay was encountered to the full depth of each hole. <br /> The soil logs are presented on Plates 12 and 13. <br /> After the percolation tests were completed, borings were advanced to first ground water; <br /> ground water was encountered at approximately seven feet below ground surface at <br /> each test location. <br /> LOGE 1523 Page 6 <br />
