I. FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of static water supply(NFPA 1231 of <br /> the National Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (3) Fire department access to buildingsshall be in accordancewith Section 902.4. A knox box (key <br /> box)shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code,Volume 2, Standard <br /> 10-1. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property.
