TRACY BLVD., TRACY <br /> APN: 253-100-06 <br /> The project is located on the east side Corral Hollow Road approximately -1/. miles south of <br /> Linne Road, south of Tracy. <br /> Project Description: <br /> This application is for a Quarry Excavation Permit to excavate approximately 4.4 million cubic <br /> yards of sand and gravel from 111 acres of 137 acre site over a period of six years. The <br /> maximum depth of excavation is approximately 80 feet. Excavated and reclaimed slopes are <br /> proposed to be at 1 Y2 to 1 or flatter. <br /> Flooding/Drainage: <br /> The project is within the boundaries of the 100-year flood plain (Zone A7) of Corral Hollow <br /> Creek. In order to contain the flood waters within Corral Hollow Creek berms will be <br /> constructed along the south side of the creek to contain a 100-year flood. <br /> To facilitate excavation of the north side of Corral Hollow Creek 3-48 inch diameter, 40-foot <br /> long culverts will be installed. These culverts will be installed no earlier than February 15th and <br /> removed no later than October 31" annually for approximately a period of two years. The <br /> purpose of installing the culverts is to construct an access road from the pit north of the creek <br /> to the conveyor belt facility for transporting the material to the plant for processing. <br />
