-4- <br /> c. STOCKPILES AND SCREENING: No stockpiled soil or material shall be placed <br /> closer than 25 feet to a property boundary except where shown on plans to <br /> provide a landscape berm or screening (provided that sight distances at road <br /> intersections are not impaired). (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[b]) <br /> d. PRIVATE ROADS: All private roads involved in an excavation shall be <br /> maintained so as to control the creation of dust. The first 100 feet of any private <br /> road on the property, which intersects, with a publicly maintained road shall be <br /> surfaced in a manner approved by the Director. Traffic-control and warning <br /> signs shall be installed, if required, at such intersections. The placement and <br /> size of these signs shall be approved by the Director of Public Works. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[c]) <br /> e. EROSION CONTROL: Protective vegetative planting, silt screen dams, or other <br /> approved methods shall be required where necessary for the control erosion. <br /> An erosion and sediment control plan approved by Department Services <br /> Division shall be part of the reclamation plan. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1415.3[d]) <br /> f. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: Standards contained in Chapter 9-1025 shall <br /> be met unless otherwise modified by conditions of the Quarry Excavation <br /> Permit. (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[e]) <br /> g. HOURS OF OPERATION: Plant operations shall normally be carried on during <br /> the hours from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Additionally, scraper operations shall not <br /> occur 400 feet of the two existing residences south of the project site during the <br /> hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. <br /> h. REPLACEMENT OF TOPSOIL: The topsoil shall be set aside, and upon <br /> completion of an excavation, the topsoil shall be replaced and the site graded in <br /> conformance with the excavation permit. (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1415.3[g]) <br /> i. WEED CONTROL: If noxious weeds are on the site, operations shall be in <br /> accordance with instructions from the Agricultural Commissioner of San Joaquin <br /> County. (Development Title Section 9-1415.3[h]) <br /> j. SETBACKS: No excavation shall take place within the setbacks as shown on <br /> the Excavation Plan dated May 4, 1999. <br /> k. TEMPORARY CUT SLOPES AT SETBACK LINES: The temporary cut slope <br /> shall not exceed 1.5 horizontal to 1 vertical. <br />
