Our Project Number: E07171A Page 3 of 10
October 31, 2007
In the 1983 photo, the property and surrounding properties appear to be used similarly to
previous years. A structure is evident on the adjacent property north of the subject property.
A structure is apparent east of the subject property on the east side of Tretheway Road.
In the 1993 photo, the property appears relatively unchanged from the previous photo.
Additional structures are evident on the adjacent property north of the subject property.
Additional structures are evident east of the subject properly on the east side of Tretheway
Road. Adjacent properties on the west and south sides of the subject property appear relatively
unchanged from the previous photo.
In the 2002 photo, the property appears to be an empty field. The surrounding properties
appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo.
These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land
uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos.
2.3 USGS Topographic Maps
One 7.5-minute U.S. Geological Survey topographic map dated 1968, was obtained from
Microsoft Terraserver.
In the 1968 map, the subject property is depicted as a vineyard. A open strip of land is
indicated along the northern property boundry. The property is depicted approximately 75 feet
above mean sea level. One structure and one well are indicated on the property. Surrounding
properties are depicted as agricultural land.
This map is included in Appendix C of this report.
2.4 Interviews
An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject
property from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental
Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Sal Martinez and signed by Luis G.
Viramontes, owner of the subject project, on October 28, 2007. A copy of the responses has
been included in this report as Appendix E.
In responses to the questionnaire, Mr. Viramontes indicated that the parcel will be split into two
forty acre parcels. Both parcels will continue to be used for agricultural purposes, and a ranch
house will be added to the new parcel. The property is currently used for agricuture, and Mr.
Viramontes was not aware of its past uses. Water is provided to the property by a well, and
waste water disposal is provided to the property by an on-site septic system. There is a
residence on the property that was remodeled in 2005 and 2006. The residence is heated and
cooled with central heat and air, and the property is used to grow cherries and grapes.
The questionnaire indicated that there are no above or below ground storage tanks on the
property used or previously used for gasoline, diesel or fuel oil. There are no pesticides, paints
902 Industria]Way•Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 •Fax 209.369.4228 ©2007 Neil O.Anderson&Associates,Inc.
