W G]E,
Southwest, fink.
2.5 PAST USES OF THE PROPERTY
According to the County Assessor's office, the property was previously owned by Mamie W.
Pettengill (property deeds could only be located dating back to 1986). It appears that the
property ownership was subsequently distributed to the remaining family members on August
31, 1987 after the death of the owner. The property ownership was transferred to the existing
owner, Miguel Anaya Etal, on January 8, 2002. Aerial photographs show that the property was
farmed with row crops (most likely oats, barley, or wheat) in 1957. Subsequent aerial
photographs seem to indicate that the property was no longer actively farmed. The 1957 and
1984 aerial photographs show some structures (most likely a single family dwelling and one or
more out buildings.) However, the buildings were demolished prior to 1993.
2.6 CURRENT AND PAST USES OF ADJOINING PROPERTIES
The primary use of the adjoining properties has remained as agricultural since 1957. One
exception is a water retention basin that was constructed by the Lockeford Community Services
District located on a 20-acre parcel adjacent to the northwest corner of the property.
2.7 SITE RENDERING,MAP, OR SITE PLAN
Figure 1 and Figure 2 are Topographic and Site Maps included in Appendix B. An
Overview Map, Detail Map, and Physical Setting Map are included in the Environmental Data
Resources Report(Appendix Q.
3.0 RECORDS REVIEW
3.1 STANDARD ENVIRONMENTAL RECORD SOURCES, FEDERAL AND STATE
A standard record review according to ASTM E 1527-00 was conducted for the subject
property. The record review included publicly obtainable database regulatory records
concerning the subject site and adjacent properties within a one-mile radius area of the site.
The following federal and state databases were searched for this investigation:
Federal Database Search
• United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) National Priorities List (NPL)
and Proposed NPL, 1.125 -mile radius
• US EPA Corrective Action Report(CORRACTS), 1.125-mile radius
• US EPA Resource Conservation and Recovery Information System-TSD Subject to
Corrective Action(RCRIS-TSD),0.625-mile radius
• US EPA Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability
Information System(CERCLIS), 0.625-mile radius
• US EPA No Further Remedial Action Planned Sites(CERC-NFRAP),0.375-mile radius
728.PRI.00 Page 5 June 2,2004
