W GIR,
Southwest, Inc.
5.1 SURFACE WATER BODIES WITHIN 500 FEET
The nearest water body is Paddy Creek, which flows through the subject property. Paddy
Creek is a tributary to Bear Creek, which ultimately flows to the Delta
_ 5.2 WATER SUPPLY WELLS WITHIN%-MILE
All of the surrounding properties have active domestic and/or irrigation wells.
5.3 SENSITIVE HABITATS OR ENDANGERED SPECIES WITHIN 500 FEET
The sensitive habitats on the subject property include Paddy Creek, the possible vernal pool
locations, and the native oak trees. Although, it was not within the scope of this investigation
to identify endangered or threatened animal and plant species nor were any observed during the
field inspection, based on regional information, there is a possibility that Federal or State
protected endangered or threatened species exist on the subject property. A qualified biologist
should be consulted if additional investigation is required concerning endangered or threatened
species.
5.4 BUILDINGS WITH BASEMENTS WITHIN 200 FEET
No buildings with basements were observed to be within 200 feet of the property.
6.0 FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS
No significant environmental issues involving hazardous materials, waste, or other impact to
the environment were observed through the record search or the site visit. Sensitive receptors
— were identified on and around the site and they include nearby domestic and irrigation wells,
Paddy Creek, seasonal drainage courses, possible vernal pools, and the possibility of the
existence of Federal or State endangered animal and plant species. Unless verification of the
existence of sensitive species and vernal pools is necessary, WGR does not recommend any
further environmental assessment of this property.
Respectfully Submitted,
WGR Southwest,Inc.
Jo M. Terayskis
Cal/EPA Registered Environmental Assessor-I No. 06085
728.PRI.00 Page 13 June 2,2004
