My family has been Stockton,Lodi,Acampo,Galt and more residents for over 100 years. My Mom was bom in Lodi. My Great Grandfather was a Pastor for years there. My Great Great Grandfather was a Sheriff and Judge in the area.There are streets named after my family there to this day.Never ONCE has there been anything other than a pleasant,friendly atmosphere at Abundance on those evenings with the live music,The bands are VERY family oriented and play popular listening/dancing music.Things don't get out of hand(like they DO at many of the local bars and such in the area).Abundance is VERY thorough about making sure the music stops promptly at 10PM and offering assistance to those that need rides home.The staff is courteous and accommodating to all that attend.It is the most family oriented winery I have been to in the entire Lodi and Napa area !The people that attend LOVE the place.We've made quite a few new friends from the people that frequent Abundance. The people at Abundance have found a FANTASTIC way to market their product.This helps Abundance keep people employed. They(Abundance)also have no problem promoting other wineries in the area as well.This weekend concert item is a HUGE draw to the Lodi Winery area in general.I fail to understand why Abundance should be punished for coming up with a great idea that promotes themselves,the winery community and Lodi in general.Entire families and groups plan SPECIFICALLY to make Abundance AND the Lodi area an all day event on these music nights.It seems SO counter productive to the city to be attempting to curtail these events when they do a MAJOR part in giving Lodi a great name.People have come to Abundance with the SOLE PURPOSE of the music and then ended up falling in love with the area and spreading the word for others to visit as well. Please help me to understand why you would want to squeeze down on someone that does SO MUCH for the area without asking for anything in return other than to let them market their product AND LODI!?I REALLY don't get it... The noise is a non factor.You can't hear ANYTHING that is any louder than people talking once you leave the property.There is ample parking on the site so that isn't an issue as well.What it boils down to(sadly) is petty jealousies and such.Abundance is always looking at ways to make themselves better and to continue to promote the entire Lodi area.I don't think that ANY of the people complaining about them are putting in NEAR as much effort to do the same.
