This estimated wet year is similar to rainfall
that occurred in water year 1998, the actual wettest year in this record (32.4 in/yr). FCE then
%W calculated the monthly runoff volumes from the winery facility for average and high rainfall
years under current and future facility configurations. The results of these stormwater
calculations are shown in Table 2.4.
Table 2.4. They show that from November through May stormwater runoff is the main
source of wastewater at the Winery. From June through October the main source of wastewater
is from process wastewater. With the current expansion production level, stormwater runoff in
the average rainfall year represents approximately 72% of the total annual wastewater discharged
to the wetland. In a high rainfall year, stormwater runoff represents approximately 83% of
annual wastewater flow. With projected wastewater flow rates and facility configuration under
the 10-yr plan, the wastewater discharged to the wetland would be 53% and 69% in average and
high rainfall years, respectively.
i
Average Rainfall Year(390 Ton Crush) High Rainfall Year(390 Ton Crush)
low
4,500 -__-_ -.__ ,mStormwater ___y. 8.000 -- _ _---..___. ................................ _...;■Stormwater
- 7,000
4,000 -- - _ - ---- -'.O Process W W. 7
- - ,000 --
3,500 -------- -- ----- -- -- - a 6.000 j
3,000 - ----------- - -- '
5,000 - ----
, a 2.500
4,000 -- ---
a 2.000 _ -- E 3,000
low a 1.500 - - -- - ---- -
e 2,000 - - - - -
V 1.000 -- U - - - --
500 - -- - - _' 1,000
`' Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
Month Month
Figure 2.1.
