Discharge Hose & Valve Assembly <br /> The discharge hose and valves (model no. HV200 B-H41) shall have a 2" diameter. It shall have <br /> a PVC ball valve rated to 150 psi and a PVC flex hose with working pressure rating of 100 psi. <br /> 8.2.4. Electrical Splice Box <br /> The splice box shall be UL approved for wet locations, equipped with five electrical cord grips <br /> and a 1" diameter conduit and be factory installed on the risers (OSI MODEL NO. SB 4). <br /> ti 8.2.5. Pump Float Switch Assembly <br /> The pump float assembly shall include three float switches: a high water alarm, an override timer <br /> on & off, and a redundant off/low level alarm (OSI Model No. MF3A-YBR 45-V). The floats <br /> shall be mounted on a PVC stem via adjustable ABS float collars and must be removable without <br /> removing the pump vault. The floats shall be UL and/or CSA listed and shall be rated for 5.OA <br /> %W @ 120VAC. See details for high and low level alarms, on-off function, and color code. <br /> %.' 8.2.6. Controls and Alarms <br /> `r A simplex control panel Model S 1 shall control the pump. <br /> b <br /> ` 8.2.7. Risers And Lids <br /> The access risers shall be at least 24" in diameter with a water tight fiberglass lid. <br /> 9. PIPING AND FITTINGS <br /> The type of pipe materials and fittings shall be as designated on the plans and shall comply with <br /> the following: <br /> 9.1. PVC Pipe <br /> ♦► Polyvinyl chloride pipe (PVC) shall be standard weight schedule 40 or schedule 80 conforming <br /> %W to AWWA C900-89 and ASTM-D-175 standards. <br /> %W 9.2. Fittings and Couplings <br /> Fittings and couplings for PVC piping shall be threaded or slip-fitted tapered socket solvent weld <br /> type. Threaded adapters shall be provided with socket pipe for connections to threaded pipe. All <br /> PVC fittings shall be threaded schedule 80 or socket schedule 80 PVC fittings conforming to <br /> AWWA standard c907-91 and ASTM standard D-2464 and D-2467. <br /> 9.3. Flexible Pipe Connectors <br /> Flexible pipe connectors shall be rated for 150 psi and constructed of neoprene and nylon with <br /> internal and external stainless steel pipe, such as the metraflex flexible rubber pipe connectors or <br /> equivalent. <br /> 9.4.
