(C/O NICK SIKEOTIS) <br /> (APN: 013-050-15, 16, & 17) (1973 W. TURNER ROAD, LODI) <br /> The applicants are proposing a Revision of Approved Actions of a previously approved <br /> Use Permit, No. PA-02-114, for a large winery (Use Type: Wineries & Wine Cellars- <br /> Large.) The application will revise the existing circulation pattern on the winery premises <br /> and modify the sign requirements of Development Title Section 9-1710.4(h) for <br /> development projects in agricultural zones. <br /> The project site is located on the north side of Turner Road, between Davis Road and <br /> DeVries Road, west of Lodi. The winery is located on approximately 2 acres of a 182 <br /> acre parcel planted in vineyards. The parcel is designated A/G (General Agriculture) in <br /> the General Plan and is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture-40 acre minimum). <br /> The existing Use Permit allows ingress and egress from Turner Road via a twenty-five <br /> (25) foot wide two-way access driveway. An eighteen (18) foot section down the center <br /> of the driveway is paved, and the remaining driveway width is surfaced with aggregate <br /> base. The applicants are proposing to permit egress to Dais Road via a sixteen (16) foot <br /> one-way driveway surfaced aggregate base. Ingress would continue off of Turner Road <br /> and the aggregate strips on either side of the paved section would be removed. <br /> Development Title Section 9-1710.4(h) states that one (1) freestanding sign per parcel <br /> shall be permitted for each street frontage of the parcel. Pole signs shall not exceed fifty <br /> (50) squ8re feet per sign face and monument signs shall not exceed sixty (60) square <br /> feet per sign face. Pole signs shall not exceed twenty-five (25) feet in height and <br /> monument signs shall not exceed six (6) feet in height. <br /> The applicants are proposing to modify the sign requirements to permit a total of three <br /> (3) freestanding monument signs along the frontage of Turner Road and two flags at the <br /> entrance of the winery driveway. Currently, the winery has one existing thirty-two (32) <br /> square foot, six (6) foot tall monument sign at the entrance of the winery.
