No problems
with leach area .
Twenty-five feet to ground water .
APN#: 013-040-17
OWNER: Jerry Allred
3355 West Turner Road
SEPTIC : Septic system is 7 years old . Original
system antiquated ( home built in 1069)
Fifteen to twenty feet to ground water .
GROUND WATER
The owner stated that the ground water on-site is
thirty feet below the surface. Under a previous study
(Prudhel MS-92-32) the well on APN 013-040-16 ( see
Exhibit 4 ) was sounded and the depth to ground water
found to be twenty-five feet.
From the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water
Conservation Study , we find that the ground water depth
is approximately thirty-two feet ( Exhibit 5) and that
the water gradient is approximately eight feet/mile,
falling southerly and approximately three feet/mile
falling westerly. (Exhibit 6) .
The owners contacted F .G.L . Laboratory to take and test
their water . The results are attached as Exhibit 7 .
SOILS AND PERCOLATION TESTS)
Per the "Soils of San Joaquin County" as published by
the University of California , the soil is Hanford Sandy
Loam.
Under permit from the San Joaquin County Health
Department , percolation tests were run September 17 ,
1992. The tests passed with results as shown on
Exhibit B.
Test 1 was near the home (Parcel 2) and percolated at
16 minutes/inch. This is compatible with the septic
system, history and soil type.
Test 2 was run in the corn field (Parcel 1 ) and
percolated at 30 minutes/inch. The corn field had been
irrigated during the week prior to the test .
