February 11, 2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04146A <br /> The RHD well and septic permit files were searched on December 29,2004 in an effort to obtain copies <br /> of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. Two permits were found for the <br /> subject property address of 30003 North Vail Road. The first permit, dated November 9, 1999,is for <br /> a repair to an existing septic system at a residence. The system was required to be an engineered <br /> infiltration system because groundwater was found at 7.5 feet below ground surface. One existing well <br /> is also depicted in the drawing. The second permit,dated April 9,2004,was for the installation of a new <br /> septic system on the opposite side of the residence from that depicted in the previous permit. These <br /> permits have been included in Appendix F of this report. <br /> J3.L7 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> The California Department of Oil,Gas,and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR)Wildcat Map#610 was <br /> reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. The subject <br /> property is depicted within the West Thornton Walnut Grove Gas Field. No wells are depicted on the <br /> subject property, but four wells are depicted within one-quarter mile: <br /> Chevron USA Inc. "McCormack-Williamson" 14 Plugged and abandoned--dry hole <br /> Lario Oil& Gas Co. "Big Booty" 1-30 Plugged and abandoned--dry hole <br /> Chevron USA Inc. "Patterson Unit" 3 Plugged and abandoned--gas <br /> Chevron USA Inc. "Patterson Construction Co." 1 Plugged and abandoned--dry hole <br /> A portion of this map is included in Appendix F of this report. r <br /> J 3.L 8 Site Reconnaissance <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on February 10,2005. Photographs of '. <br /> the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is <br /> attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be irregular in shape and planted almost entirely with vineyard. <br /> The northern property boundary was defined by the Mokelumne River,and a raised levee road followed <br /> L the curve of the river. Unimproved roads defined the southern and western property lines. The eastern <br /> property line was defined by an'irrigation canal. <br /> A primary residence, a second dwelling unit, a barn, and an outbuilding used for automotive <br /> maintenance were observed in the northwest corner of the subject property. The interiors of the <br /> structures were not inspected. A man-made lake was observed to the south of the primary residence; <br /> the lake was not assessed beyond the observation of no odors. <br /> 4 <br /> i� 7 'I <br /> L , <br />
