This point is undeniable. The
population density of the area, particularly to the south and
southwest of the proposed pond, is much higher than the AG-40
zoning might indicate. The Rossier Tract, adjacent to the
proposed pond, is divided into thirty-nine parcels - all much
smaller than the current minimum of forty acres. Twenty-five of
these parcels are five acres or less. All these properties have
homes on them. A large number of families will be affected by
- these undesirable side effects.
The waste pond would essentially be a raw sewage storage
facility. The odor represents a form of air pollution
that should not be imposed on the current residents.
We are also concerned about the effects the expansion could
have on our water supply, and possible contamination. It seems
highly questionable whether the eighteen acre parcel can tolerate
the amount of waste water that will be generated by a dairy
milking 400 cows. Although the waste water should be contained
in the sewage pond, it is our contention that excessive pumping
