The only septic permit of record within a quarter mile is included in the appendix.
According to the land owner, there are no known pesticide containers buried on the property. A
visual inspection did not produce any evidence of buried containers. The field investigation also
did not yield any unusual (noxious) odors.
_ Conclusion and Recommendation
The intention of creating the homesite parcel is to build a home on the four acre parcel. Since
the "financing parcel" merges back into the larger parcel when the loan is paid off, no new
parcels are actually being created. No new homesites are potentially being created by the
project.
A Condition of Approval for this project will require a Soils Suitability Report. This report will
_ require a percolation test as well as water testing (nitrates and DBCP).
Based on visual observation, County records, and testimony of the property owners, there
appears to be no surface contamination. Given the scope of this study, the probability of
subsurface contamination should be considered low and normal to this region.
Limitations
Dillon& Murphy does not assume responsibility for the discovery and elimination of
environmental hazards which may be discovered. Recommendations suggested in no way assure
the elimination of any possible environmental concerns.
The extent of this report cannot guarantee surface or subsurface conditions do not exist. The
possibility for contaminants always exist.
DILLON &MURPHY
Joe Murphy
R.C.E. 45,277
2
CA0362 Surface and Subsurface Report
