Anderson Et Associates, Inc. (NOA) has been retained by Mr. Caffese to prepare a _ Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report for the property identified as 748 & 808 South Walker Lane and 5205 East Main Street, Stockton, California. This report has been prepared to meet the requirements of the San Joaquin County Development Title, §9-905.12, as follows: A surface and subsurface contamination report shall be required at the time of the tentative map submittal. The surface and subsurface contamination report shall be prepared by a qualified environmental professional and shall identify any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of nonpoint source of hazardous materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. The purpose of this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report is to identify, to the extent feasible and based on the search methods described in the text, sources of surface or subsurface contamination to the subject property. The report also provides recommendations intended to inform the client and allow the EHD to make an informed decision on whether further action should be required to address any potential contamination sources identified. _ This report contains information and data provided to NOA by several sources. NOA in no way warrants the accuracy or completeness of the information provided to this investigation by those sources. This report has been formatted to correspond with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report Requirement Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. This report was prepared for the exclusive use of Mr. Caffese and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the processing of a tentative map at San Joaquin County. This report is not equivalent to a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and does not meet ASTM E1527-00 or ASTM E1527-05.
