` The Surveyor's Map is included in this report and is a Lot Line Adjustment map.(LLA).
PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION
The LLA Map shows the lot configuration for the three groupings that make the subdivision and
the location of the test holes. Because of the high water table, only shallow test holes are
applicable. The EHD requires 100' of Leach Line per bedroom. The tests were conducted on the
following dates:
Leach Fiep Area
Date of Test Number of Test Hole PA Number APN 6,000 SF 8,000SF
8/18/05 #1,2, 3 001-140-02
8/25/05 #5, 6 001-140-04,06.49
9/1/05 #4,9 001-140-03
" " #10 001-140-02
9/15/05 #7 001-140-04,06,49
9/20/05 #8 001-140-04,06,49
The weather was consistent during the test period,no rain and generally sunshine.
The developer picked the location of the test holes and prepared them for testing. We were not
able to view the material as it came out of the 8 holes dug by the developer. Measurements were
made at each hole to confirm the depth to gravel, placed by the developer.A 4" PVC sleeve was
placed in the 6" holes and a 10" metal sleeve was placed in the 12" holes. Two inches of gravel
was placed in the bottom of the 6" holes and around the exterior of the sleeves for a minimum of
6" in all holes.
The percolation test forms were completed and verified by the EHD representative. All tests were
satisfactory.
Each hole was pre-soaked,by adding 12 inches of water, 24 hours prior to beginning the 4 hour
test. All test holes were dry after the soak period. The testing procedure conformed to SJC Policy
EHD 02-02. All holes were 12" in diameter except#8 and#10. The test hole#10 was to close to
the well and a new location approximately 110'from the well was hand augured.(6")
Test holes# 1,3,4,5 require 8,000 SF of leach field area and test holes#2,6,7,8 & 10 require
6,000 SF of leach field area. (Area indicated on Surveyor's Map.)
4.
