(6) Fire permits will be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous <br /> to life or property (CFC, 105.2.1) <br /> 3. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: (Staff Contact: Tom Iwamiya, 468-3023) <br /> a. An encroachment permit shall be required for any work within the road right-of-way. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.4) <br /> b. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due <br /> and payable at the time of building permit application. The fee currently is $136.93 per <br /> additional daily trip end generated in the Thornton area. The fee shall be automatically <br /> adjusted July 1 of each year by the Engineering Construction Cost Index as published <br /> by the Engineering News Record. (Resolutions R-90-304, R-91-1025, R-93-167, R-94-174, <br /> and R-95-650) <br /> C. The owner shall execute a Deferred Storm Drainage Facility Agreement based on the <br /> Thornton Storm Drainage Master Plan to finance their proportionate share of the <br /> estimated cost of the storm drainage system. A $260.00 fee currently is required for <br /> processing, per Development Title Table 9-240.2, in addition to a copy of the Grant Deed <br /> and an estimate of the proportionate share. The project shall be served by a public sewer collection and treatment system <br /> constructed in conformance with the requirements of the Environmental Health Division <br /> of Public Health Services and the Department of Public Works, unless suitability for septic <br /> tank usage is determined by the Environmental Health Division. When services become <br /> available, the project shall be required to connect to the public sewer collection and <br /> treatment system and finance their proportionate share of the cost of the system <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1105.2) <br /> 4. Demolition of all dilapidated structures and removal of all demolition material from the <br /> premises to an approved landfill site is required in accordance with Ordinance Code <br /> Section 5-2401. <br /> b. Connect to an approved public water supply system as required by Development Title <br /> Section 9-1120.2. <br /> C. Submit four sets of detailed underground storage tank plans to the Environmental Health <br /> Division for review and approval prior to beginning construction. <br /> d. Submit three sets of food facility construction plans to the Environmental Health Division <br /> for review and approval prior to issuance of building permits.
