• SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Stanley Enterprises LP <br /> to conduct a Soil Suitability Study for the property located at 14629 East Wildwood <br /> Road, Stockton, California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> A minor subdivision is proposed to divide the Site into four 40-acre parcels and a <br /> designated remainder (Plate 2). Dereck Stanley indicated that no changes to the use of <br /> the Site are planned. <br /> • Site Description <br /> The Site consists of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 203-030-02, approximately 320 <br /> acres in size. It is located at 14629 East Wildwood Road, Stockton, California; San <br /> Joaquin County lists 14641, 14617, and 14997 East Wildwood Road as additional <br /> addresses. One house on the Site bears the additional address of 14715 East <br /> Wildwood Road. The Site consists of open, agricultural land bisected by Wildwood <br /> Road; Temple Creek also crosses the Site. A building cluster is located north of J <br /> Wildwood Road near the center of the Site; a brick house (14629), a smaller, wooden <br /> house (14715), and a mobile home are located in this area, as well as a shop, a barn, a <br /> structure containing an indoor pool, a garage, five sheds, and 10 grain bins. Two <br /> domestic wells, two irrigation wells, and four irrigation pumps are also located on the <br /> Site (Plates 3 and 4). <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 55 to 58 feet above mean sea level (Plate 5). The Site is <br /> relatively flat. <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This j <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> • <br /> LOGE 1702 Page 1 <br />
