5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using <br /> industry standard protocol: The soils in this area are classified as Pentz Sandy Loam and Peters Clay <br /> as stated in the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California as provided by the United States /S3� <br /> Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. l <br /> 5.4 Discussion of soil lithology as related to future onsite septic uses: The Pentz Sandy Loam <br /> permeability is moderately rapid and Peters Clay is slow. Percolation rate was 2.59 min/in. (See <br /> Appendix). <br /> 6.0 PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION <br /> 6.1 Site Map Showing the location,with concise and accurate dimensions of the percolation <br /> test holes on the parcel: (See Appendix.) (/. <br /> 6.2 The Minimum Number of Shallow and Deep Percolation Tests was Performed for Each <br /> — Parcel: One shallow percolation test hole was prepared on the proposed "Financing" parcel. (41.Z, <br /> 6.3 Description of the Date, Time and Protocol Used to Prepare the Test Hole, Including <br /> Depth and Dimensions of Hole, Preparation of Hole, and Depth of Water Used to Presoak <br /> (Minimum 12 Inches): The shallow test hole was excavated to a depth of 42 inches and <br /> 8 inches in diameter and backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel" in accordance with County <br /> Standards. The shallow hole was prepared by the owner and inspected by Mike Toy of <br /> Dillon & Murphy. On April 8, 2014 at 7:30 a.m., the 24 hour presoak period was started. The <br /> hole was filled with 12 inches of water over the gravel at this time. <br /> 6.4 Description of the Date, Time and Condition of the Test Hole After the 24-Hour Soak <br /> Period (Hole Still Intact, Hole Dry, Depth to Water Remaining in Hole, Etc.): On �� 1 <br /> April 9, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. the test hole was dry. Six inches of water was added to the hole and <br /> the hole was deemed suitable to continue. The shallow test passed the minimum County requirements. <br /> 6.5 The Test Conformed to San Joaquin County Policy EHD 02-02 (Correct Depth, diameter, _ <br /> 2" gravel, 6" Water Refill, Correct Readings Recorded): The percolation test conformed to <br /> San Joaquin County Policy EHD 02-02. <br /> 6.6 Complete Percolation Test Form (Including Readings) Was Provided With REHS / <br /> Verification Signature.
