One septic system near the shop has not been used in 15 years (personal communication, <br /> May 10,2006). We counted the building clusters in <br /> L the one square mile surrounding the Site, and made the assumption that each building cluster has <br /> one septic system. Using this method,we determined that there are a minimum of six septic <br /> systems per square mile in the immediate vicinity of the Site. <br /> The general land use of the vicinity is agricultural with scattered rural residences. <br /> 3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> The following septic system permit was found for the vicinity of the Site during file review at EHD <br /> on May 23,2006: <br /> i <br /> L <br /> 3 <br /> fr. <br /> L <br />
