D. SOIL PROFILE &PERCOLATION TESTING:
One hole approximately 38" deep was made on each parcel using a 6" hand auger.
The soil is primarily silty sandy loam. The holes were easily dug with a hand auger.
The Percolation Tests conducted by Earnest F. Smith& Associates, Civil Engineers,
were performed in accordance with current applicable County Standards and are
contained in the appendix and abbreviated below.
Parcel No. Test Hole No. Percolation Rate (min/in) Minimum Disposal area (ft')
1 1 15 8,000
Remainder 2 12.6 8,000
E. Water Tests and analysis were made by FGL and is included in the Appendix.
CONCLUSION:
The Percolation Tests(2) are satisfactory. The location selected for each test is
approximately 150 ft south of Woodbridge Road at locations to be representative of
future leach fields. Both Parcel 1 with 15 min/in and designated remainder with
12.6 min/in requires 8,000 ft2 of leach field area.
Based on the findings of this study each parcel should support a single family
residence on site septic system, designed and installed in accordance with current
regulations. Pits are required at the end of each leach line. (36" min. Dia.)
Records search did not indicate any failures on east Woodbridge road in project
vicinity.
LIMITATIONS: This report cannot constitute a warranty or guarantee, either expressed
or implied. It is our professional opinion the findings in this report are a reasonable
assessment of the current soil conditions.
Respectfully submitted, Earnest F.
