GENERAL / <br /> Kleinfe§der is pleased to present the results of our soil suitability and nitrate loading <br /> study for the proposed Sikh Tempie to be located at 4628 E. Woodward Avenue in <br /> Manteca, California. The Assessor's Parcel Number of tho property is 226-170-01. <br /> An aerial photograph showing the approximate site boundaries is presented on Plate <br /> 1- The purpose of our utudy was to determine the suitability of the property for septic <br /> tank usage. The.study was performed in general accordance with the requirements of <br /> Section 9-10100Cz of San Joaquin County ordinance. The following sections include <br /> background information regarding the project site and the proposed development, past <br /> and present uses of the site, existing septic tank performance and permitting, and the <br /> groundwater conditions in the project area. In addition, discussions regarding our <br /> hive-stigative procedures and the site ,conditions encountered during our field <br /> exploration are included. Finally, the results of our percolation tests, nitrate loadino <br /> calculations, and subsequent conclusions are presented. <br /> I <br /> 2. SITE DESCRIPTION / PROPOSED F?EVELC?PArIENT <br /> At the time of our study, the subject 5.83-acre parcel primarily consisted of a relatively <br /> flat area that was in the grading phase of constriction. A single family home existed at <br /> the northeast corner of the property and was surrounded by scattered trees and <br /> bushes. The property was bound to the north by East Woodward Avenue, to the east <br /> by a single family residence, scattered trees, and fallow field: area. to the west by <br /> South Airport Way, and to the south by a fallow field area. The existing parcel is <br /> zoned AU-20. <br /> We understand that a proposed Sikh Temple with associated paved parking, detention <br /> basin, and other improvements, will be constructed on the subject property. An on-site <br /> septic/leach field systenn will provide sewage disposal, A new domestic; well will <br /> provide water for the proposed Sikh Temple_ A map showing the approximate location <br /> of the proposed Sikh Temple, septic/leach field, and well is presented on Plate 2. <br /> We understand that the proposed Sikh Temple will have a maximum seating capacity <br /> of 294 people, and the building will be used primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. <br /> Duringthe middle of a typical week we understand a maximum? of 50 people will use <br /> the facility. eiTerr pf will 1►a_v_e a.�kitch i.
