It is not clear how trucks will maneuver in the parking area. The Commercial Building <br />Permit site plan must show truck sizes and turning radii. <br />Lighting <br />The site plan does not currently show any parking area lighting. <br />In accordance with Development Section 9-1015.5[g], parking lot and security lighting <br />must be installed if the parking area is to be used at night and all lighting must be <br />designed to confine direct rays to the premises with no spillover. This must be shown on <br />the Commercial Building Permit site plan. <br />Landscaping <br />The site plan does not show any existing or proposed landscaping along Yosemite <br />Avenue. <br />In accordance with Development Title Section 9-1020.8[a], a minimum ten (10) foot wide <br />planting strip is required along Yosemite Avenue. In addition, all undeveloped areas must <br />be landscaped. Areas that are not part of this project must be clearly shown on the site <br />plan and must be barricaded from truck and automobile traffic. This must be shown on the <br />Commercial Building Permit site plan. <br />Screening <br />In accordance with Development Title Section 9-1022.4[e][2][A], all storage materials <br />must be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. <br />The Community Development Department has reviewed the Site Approval application <br />and responses from other agencies, and providing any outstanding issues have been <br />resolved, will approve the project subject to the following conditions: <br />Site Approval Application No. PA -0900141 was approved by the Community <br />Development Department on. The effective date of approval is.
