It is not clear how trucks will maneuver in the parking area. The Commercial Building Permit site plan must show truck sizes and turning radii. Lighting The site plan does not currently show any parking area lighting. In accordance with Development Section 9-1015.5[g], parking lot and security lighting must be installed if the parking area is to be used at night and all lighting must be designed to confine direct rays to the premises with no spillover. This must be shown on the Commercial Building Permit site plan. Landscaping The site plan does not show any existing or proposed landscaping along Yosemite Avenue. In accordance with Development Title Section 9-1020.8[a], a minimum ten (10) foot wide planting strip is required along Yosemite Avenue. In addition, all undeveloped areas must be landscaped. Areas that are not part of this project must be clearly shown on the site plan and must be barricaded from truck and automobile traffic.
