2018 ANNUAL GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT FORMER KEARNEY—KPF FACILITY-STOCKTON,CALIFORNIA <br /> period. Monthly effluent samples were not collected between January 3, 2018, and April 4, 2018, because no <br /> groundwater was treated and discharged to the infiltration basin. <br /> The treatment system was restarted on April 4, 2018. On April 19, 2018, a sulfuric acid leak was encountered at the <br /> sulfuric acid port on the effluent line.The system was shut down and the sulfuric acid line port was repaired.After the <br /> line was repaired,the system was restarted and the leak ceased.The sulfuric acid was treated by applying a mixture <br /> of 32 pounds of baking soda and water to the saturated ground. <br /> The treatment system was temporarily shut down on May 22, 2018, to replace lamps in the ultraviolet reactors. <br /> The system was restarted on May 22, 2018.The treatment system then ran continuously until the second planned <br /> shutdown period, which began on July 6, 2018. The treatment system was shut down from July 6, 2018, until <br /> October 4, 2018. <br /> The treatment system was restarted on October 4, 2018, and ran continuously through Q4 2018. Table 2.2-1 <br /> summarizes the downtime of the treatment system in 2018. <br /> Table 2.2-1.
