If everything else is in
order they should be ready for our sign-off.
Thanks,
Rod
From: Armstrong, Scott@Waterboards [maiIto:Scott.Armstrong@waterboards.ca.gov]
Sent: Monday, January 26, 2015 12:49 PM
To: Daniel Kramer; Markus Bokisch
Cc: Rodney Estrada [EH]
Subject: RE: Proof of Submission - Application for Winery Waste Waiver (Bokisch)
Hi Daniel,
I received the completed Form 200 and Form 200-R5-FP, which you submitted via email on 9 January 2015. 1
have also received the signed original forms via regular mail. Based on my cursory review of the application
materials, this discharge may qualify under the proposed Conditional Waiver of Waste Discharge
Requirements for Small Food Processors, which is scheduled for adoption at the Board's regularly scheduled
meeting next week. Once the Waiver is adopted, the application will be reviewed in more detail and a Notice of
Applicability will be prepared to put this discharge under coverage of the waiver. Due to current staff backlog,
preparation of a Notice of Applicability may take several weeks.
The only part of the application that is missing is the application fee. Under the current fee schedule and the
structure of the proposed Waiver, the facility is categorized as a threat and complexity of 3C. The one-time
application payment for coverage under the proposed Waiver is $2,088, made payable to the State Water
Resources Control Board, but submitted to this office for processing. We can't proceed with reviewing the
application materials without payment and also not until after adoption of the proposed waiver. Additional
applicant information required under the proposed Waiver can be submitted using the updated form or as an
addendum letter.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Scott
Scott Armstrong P.G., C HG.
Engineering Geologist
Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
Waste Discharge to Land Unit
11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200
Rancho Cordova, California 95670
Direct: 916-464-4616 / Fax: 916-464-4681
i
