CLEANUP AND ABATEMENT ORDER <br />CALIFORNIA TANK LINES, INC. <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />-3- <br />2. An investigation to determine the extent of heavy metal and any other <br />contamination in on- and off-site soils, including the drainage system and <br />the sediments of Walker Slough resulting from this spill and any other <br />discharges from the site, including site storm runoff. This investigation <br />shall include proposed cleanup alternatives and shall be conducted <br />according to the following time schedule: <br />a. By 10 April 1987 submit a work plan for this investigation. Include <br />plans for sampling both on- and off-site soils and the slough <br />sediments. <br />b. Within 45 days of Board approval of the work plan, submit a completed <br />report of the investigation, including a selected cleanup alterna- <br />tive. <br />3. Within 30 days of Board approval of an adequate cleanup plan implementation <br />of the actual cleanup must begin and shall be completed according to the <br />approved time schedule. <br />4. By 24 April 1987, submit a complete Report of Waste Discharge for site <br />drainage and any other discharges. Include a complete spill contingency <br />plan that includes, but is not limited to, the following physical measures <br />that will be taken to prevent spill material from leaving the site. <br />WILLIAM N.
