Report completed on October 26, 2011. Checklist left on <br /> site at time of inspection. <br /> Class II violations: (301, 305, 404, 605) <br /> 301. Oil was observed leaking onto the concrete outside under the air blower. Facilities shall be <br /> maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to <br /> air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately fix any <br /> leaks, clean the stained areas, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br /> statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by November 26, <br /> 2011. REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 305. A spill pallet under a drum of waste acetonitrile outside the maintenance shop, a spill pallet under <br /> the waste aerosol cans and oil debris, and the secondary containment area under the used oil tank in the <br /> oil storage area were observed with standing liquid in the bottom. All facility communications and alarm <br /> systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, shall be <br /> tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Spill <br /> containment shall be maintained clean and dry at all times so as to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> opportunity. Immediately remove and properly dispose of all hazardous waste from spill containment, and <br /> maintain all spill containment clean and dry at all times. REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> InapeUon Remivetl By.
