MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -2- <br /> CITY OF LODI <br /> WHITE SLOUGH WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> EFFLUENT MONITORING OF DOMESTIC WASTEWATER <br /> Effluent samples shall be collected downstream from the last connection through <br /> which wastes can be admitted into the outfall . Effluent samples should be repre- <br /> sentative of the volume and nature of the discharge. Samples collected from the <br /> outlet structure of ponds will be considered adequately composited. Time of <br /> collection of a grab sample shall be recorded. The following shall constitute <br /> the effluent monitoring program: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample Frequency <br /> 20°C BODS mg/l , lbs/day 24-hr. Composite Daily <br /> Suspended Matter mg/l , lbs/day 24-hr. Composite Daily <br /> Settleable Matter ml/l Grab Daily <br /> pH pH Units Grab Daily <br /> Total Coliform MPN/100 ml Grab Daily <br /> Organisms Dail <br /> Chlorine Residual mg/l Grab y <br /> Flow mgd Continuous Daily <br /> Temperature OF(OC) Grab Daily <br /> Ammonia (as N) mg/l Grab Weekly <br /> Oil and Grease mg/l Grab Weekly <br /> Bioassay' % Survival 24-hr. Composite Weekly <br /> Total Dissolved mg/1 Grab Monthly <br /> Solids <br /> Specific Conductivity µmhos/cm Grab Monthly <br /> Standard Mineral S2 mg/l Grab Yearly <br /> ' The test shall be golden shiner, with no pH adjustment, except as <br /> authorized by the Executive Officer. <br /> Z Standard Mineral include calcium, magnesium, hardness, sodium, potassium, <br /> alkalinity, sulfate, chloride, boron, nitrate, dissolved solids, and <br /> specific conductance. <br /> If the discharge is intermittent rather than continuous, then on the first day <br /> of each such intermittent discharge, the Discharger shall monitor and record data <br /> for all of the constituents listed above, after which the frequencies of analysis <br /> given in the schedule shall apply for the duration of each such intermittent <br /> discharge. In no event shall the Discharger be required to monitor and record <br /> data more often than twice the frequencies listed in the schedule. <br />
