MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM <br /> CITY OF LODI <br /> WHITE SLOUGH WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> ConstituentsUnits Sampling <br /> Station Frequency <br /> Dissolved Oxygen mg/l R-1 , R-2, R-3, R-4 Twice Weekly <br /> PH pH Units R-1 , R-2, R-3, R-4 Twice Weekly <br /> Turbidity Turbidity Units R-1 , R-2, R-3, R-4 Twice Weekly <br /> Temperature OF (°C) R-1 , R-2, R-3, R-4 Twice Weekly <br /> Unionized Ammonia' mg/l R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4 Twice Weekly <br /> Available Dilution Percent R-2, R-3 Per approved <br /> Dilution Study' <br /> ' Temperature and pH shall be determined at the time of sample collection <br /> for the calculation of Un-ionized Ammonia. <br /> ' Dilution study shall be conducted according to Provision 7. <br /> In conducting the receiving water sampling, a log shall be kept of the receiving <br /> water conditions throughout the reach bounded by Stations R-1 and R-4. Attention <br /> shall be given to the presence or absence of: <br /> a. Floating or suspended matter <br /> b. Discoloration <br /> c. Bottom deposits <br /> d. Aquatic life <br /> e. Visible films, sheens or coatings <br /> f. Fungi , slimes, or objectionable growths <br /> g. Potential nuisance conditions <br /> Notes on receiving water conditions shall be summarized in the monitoring report. <br /> SLUDGE MONITORING <br /> A composite sample of sludge from shall be collected annually in accordance with <br /> EPA's POTW Sludge Sampling and Analysis Guidance Document, August 1989, and <br /> tested for the following metals: <br /> Cadmium, Chromium, Copper, Lead, Nickel , and Zinc <br /> Sampling records shall be retained for a minimum of five years. A log shall be <br /> kept of sludge quantities generated and of handling and disposal activities. The <br /> frequency of entries is discretionary; however, the log should be complete enough <br /> to serve as a basis for part of the annual report. <br />
