MONITORING AND REATING PROGRAM NO. 5-00- <br /> 8 <br /> CITY OF LODI <br /> WHITE SLOUGH WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 3 Soluble salts shall be determined using test methods described in Methods of Soil Analysis,Part 2, <br /> Chemical and Microbiological Properties,Second Edition;Edited by Page,Miller and Keeney; <br /> American Society of Agronomy,Inc.,Soil Science Society of America,Inc. 1982,or other acceptable <br /> test methods with prior approval of Executive Officer. Analytical results shall report the soil/water <br /> ratio. <br /> 4 Arsenic,Cadmium,Chromium,Copper,Lead,Mercury,Molybdenum,Nickel,Selenium,and Zinc <br /> WATER SUPPLY MONITORING <br /> A sampling station shall be established where a representative sample of the municipal water <br /> supply can be obtained. Water supply monitoring shall include at least the following: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Frequency <br /> Electrical Conductivity µmhos/cm Annually <br /> @ 25°C <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/1 Annually <br /> 1 If the source water is from more than one well,the EC shall be reported as a weighted average and <br /> include copies of supporting calculations. <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Groundwater upgradient and downgradient of the industrial and domestic wastewater treatment <br /> facilities and the reclamation and biosolids disposal areas shall be sampled quarterly. An <br /> adequate number of monitoring wells shall be constructed in accordance with Provision 11 of <br /> Order No. , to evaluate the impacts of the operations. Wells shall comply with <br /> requirements of the Department of Water Resources. The following constitutes the groundwater <br /> monitoring program: <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample <br /> Elevation) feet (MSL) ---- <br /> Specific Conductivity µmhos/cm Grab <br /> Nitrates (as N) mg N/1 Grab <br /> Total coliform organisms MPN/100 ml Grab <br /> 1 The elevation shall be used to calculate the gradient and direction of groundwater flow,which <br /> shall be reported with the monitoring report. <br />
