3 -
Single Zone Completion Procedure
1. Pick-up 2-3/8" tubing with ..i" collars and G.O. 41" casing to 101+ below any
future proposed performations . Run CBL and gamma-collar correlation log.
Close rams and pressure test 42" casing to 2500 PSI after running CBL log.
Perforate 4?" holes above all proposed zones and test for W.S.O. as required
for D.O.G. Circulate out the drilling mud with water. Rerun and land open-ended
tubing with pump shoe f50' above all major proposed performation intervals,
within reason. After installing tubing bonnet, repressure test casing and tubing
head to 2 ,500 PSI.
2. Displace water I.H. with nitrogen, depressing the F.L. 1500' downhole. Rig
up 3,000 W.P. grease injector lubricator and perforate the proposed intervals
through tubing and underbalanced, using 1-3/4" Magnum Swing jet.
3. Flow test and evaluate well. Release rig.
Dual Zone Completion Procedure
1. Pick-up 2-3/8" tubing with 3"" collars, bit and scraper and C.O. 5 2" casing to
104- below any future proposed perforations . Run CBL, gamma-collar correlation
log. Close rams and pressure test 52" casing to 2500 PSI after running CBL log.
Perforate 4-111 holes above all proposed zones and test using dry tester as required
for D.O.G. Perforate 4-1" holes above the lower most zone and W.S.O. Circulate
the drilling mud O.H. with f75 PCF clean salt water containing 3% by weight of
KCL. Across the interval to be perforated, spot a pill containing 1 PPB of X-C
polymer.
2. Set a Baker Model "FB-1 packer" with 3 .000" bore with 10' tail with 1.81'
seating nipple below the packer.
3. Perforate the upper interval with 42" H/F using 4" O.D. casing gun.
4. Hydrotest 2-3/8" tubing I.H. with seal assembly and model "L" sliding sleeve
*10' above seal assembly. Model "L" to contain 1 .87' seating nipple. Blast
joints to be installed 10' above and below perforated interval.
5. Land tubing in packer and pressure test seal assembly and tubing to 2500 PSI.
Install Christmas tree and retest tubing, tree and seal assembly when installed.
Test to 2500 PSI between donut and bonnet to test tubing spooltree connection.
6. Open sliding sleeve and circulate completion fluid out of the tubing and casing
j with nitrogen to bring on the annulus zone. Continuously inject nitrogen until
no solids content is observed to prevent a solids bridge from occurring in the
4 annulus .
