• Hygienist, Operations Manager, and assigned job supervisor prior to the commencement of work. • Engineering, administrative and/or personal protective control measures are prescribed, appropriate operations methods developed, and safety and emergency procedures defined during this process. During the course of an operation, the job supervisor • has the responsibility for implementing the job and Health and Safety requirements delineated in the job review process. Job supervisors are responsible for inspecting the work area a minimum of every shift, and have the authority to correct any unsafe working condition. Job supervisors may stop work at any time to • correct a hazard or prevent an employee from working in an unsafe environment. To provide for the immediate correction of any potentially unsafe working condition, all employees are required to report any accidents, injuries or unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor immediately. • In addition to work inspections by site supervisors, operations are routinely inspected by the Industrial Hygiene Coordinator and Operations Manager to verify compliance with stipulated job requirements, and to evaluate individual job supervisor performance in • fulfilling their mandated responsibilities. VI . COMMUNICATION Whenever an employee is assigned to a particular work • operation which may expose that individual to actual or potential physical, chemical and/or biological hazards, the job requirements, hazards, protective measure and emergency procedures are communicated to the employee during a Tailgate Safety Meeting, conducted by the job supervisor at the beginning of every work shift. The • subjects of the meeting are recorded on a Tailgate Safety Meeting Form, signed by each employee and posted at each job site. In addition to the staff safety meetings, Management personnel meet monthly for the Management Safety • Committee Meeting to discuss the Health and Safety program's status, needs and direction. • •
