In addition, attached to each drum by wire, will be a waterproof label
bearing the following information:
• Container number
• Boring number
• Media type (soil)
• Depths from which soil was taken
• Date of sampling
The label will also note that analytical results are pending for the container.
The analytical results from the soil samples will be correlaa:d to the specific cuttings.
If chemical constituents are detected, the sample with the highest concentration will be
considered representative of the soil inside the drum or on the plastic sheets.
3.5.2 PURGED GROUNDWATER AND DECONTAMINATION WASTEWATER
W,stewaters will be generated during monitoring well development, water purging from
the wells before sampling and equipment decontamination. This water will be stored
onsite in 55-gallon drums. Each drum will be labeled and sealed when full. A
container number will be written on each drum with a wax crayon. An attached,water-
proof label will include the following information:
• Container number
• Source of waste (well number or decontamination water)
• Media type (water)
• Date of collection
• Date of sampling (if applicable)
• Sample numbers associated with the well or decontamination water
r
When available, field investigation anaiyt, cal results will be correlated with drummed
wastewau:-' to determine the appropriate disposition for the waste. If no contamination
is detected, the water will be discharged to the ground surface.
SF031605%WF%003.51 3-9
