It is a modification to the TO-15 method which specifies that specially-
treated, evacuated vessels will be used for sample collection.
It isn't appropriate that the lab is reporting QC that is generated from liquid-based calibration. I'm assuming that's
what was done, due to the ug/L units reported. The method associated should be called Modified 8015 or 8260,
not a TO- method.
Best Regards,
Jennifer Miller
Technical Sales
Air Toxics Ltd.
180 Blue Ravine Road, Ste. The units reported for the samples are micrograms per meter cubed. The QC associated with the
samples is reported in micrograms per liter by methods 8260B and 8015M. Is it possible to report air samples by
method T01 and TO3 when the samples are collected in Tedlar bags and the QC is reported by 82608 and
8015M?
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
6/23/2009
