The property owner <br /> has been in contact with Code Enforcement, and indicated to the Code Enforcement Officer that <br /> he understands that he can only have a maximum of one (1) truck and two (2) trailers on site. On <br /> December 7,2018,the Code Enforcement Officer completed a site visit.The Officer did not observe <br /> any violations, and the Code Enforcement Case was closed. <br /> Agricultural Truck Parking <br /> Agricultural Truck Parking is a conditionally permitted accessory use pursuant to Development Title <br /> Table 9-605.3 in the AG (General Agriculture), AL (Limited Agriculture), AU (Agriculture-Urban <br /> Reserve), and ARM (Agriculture Resource Management) zones, subject to a Site Approval <br /> application and the special use regulation contained in Development Title Section 9-605.6(f).This <br /> section states: <br /> (f) Agricultural Truck Parking. A permit approval for truck parking as an accessory use in <br /> the agricultural zone shall be subject to the following minimum requirements: <br /> (1) The property contains a minimum of two (2) acres for up to one (1) truck and two (2) <br /> trailers,-and four(4) acres for up to two (2)trucks and four(4)trailers; and <br /> (2) The property fronts on a County-maintained road with a minimum twenty(20)foot width <br /> of pavement. <br /> (3) The property contains the residence of the owner-operator of the truck(s). <br /> (4) No employees, other than members of the owner-operator's immediate family, are <br /> allowed in the agricultural truck parking operation. <br /> (5) One(1)accessory structure only is allowed for maintenance and repair of the permitted <br /> trucks and trailers. <br /> The provisions for Agricultural Truck Parking were added through a Development Title Text <br /> Amendment application (TA-89-0014), which was approved by the Board of Supervisors on <br /> October 25, 1990. Agricultural Truck Parking can apply to the parking of any type of truck in the <br /> agricultural zones, and is not limited to trucks to be utilized for agricultural purposes. There are no <br /> limitation placed on the trucks except the maximum number permitted on site. As a result, any <br /> owner-operator may park trucks on their property as long as the above special use regulations are <br /> met, and upon finalization of a Site Approval application. <br />
