Fourth Quarter 1994 Remediation Status Report--Former Beacon Station #494 <br /> Located at 2185 East Fremont Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Earnest. <br /> Acton • Mickelson • van Dam, Inc (AMV), prepared this letter to document remediation <br /> activity at the referenced site during the fourth quarter of 1994, specifically, the period from <br /> September 22 to December 16, 1994 Table 1 summarizes the performance of the vapor <br /> • extraction system Figure 1 graphically presents hydrocarbon extraction rates versus time for <br /> the vapor extraction system. <br /> The vapor extraction system ran a total of 18 days in the 85-day reporting period. Following <br /> is a month-by-month summary of activity for both the vapor extraction system and ground water <br /> extraction system <br /> September 22 to October 27, 1994 <br /> The vapor extraction system ran continuously from September 22 to October 10, 1994 The <br /> Thermtech oxidation unit was shut down on October 10, 1994, for transportation to another site <br /> The vapor extraction system extracted an estimated 278 pounds of hydrocarbons (based on field <br /> readings) Laboratory analysis for the influent air bag sample collected on September 22, 1994, <br /> was nondetectable for benzene The resulting estimated benzene extraction was 0.0 pound.
