S 11�1 N J OAQ I I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— AMENDED <br /> 9/27/2019 <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Stapleton Group 1 1111 NAVY DR, STOCKTON September 25, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> -White powder was observed on shelves and on the floor throughout the room. <br /> Ingredients Warehouse F1: <br /> -In the staff office room, one, 1 gallon container(full) labeled"Carfosel"was on a shelf. <br /> -Three blue 55 gallon poly drums labeled"Charsol Supreme Hickory"(full)were on a shelf in an aisle and had a <br /> best by date of April 2019. <br /> -One white 55 gallon poly drum (full)labeled "ChemStation 3391 Chlorinated Cleaner"was on a shelf in an aisle. <br /> According to Mr. Mancha, ChemStation should have picked the drum up with the other chemicals. <br /> -Near the entrance doors of the Ingredients Warehouse, a white crystal powder was observed on the floor and on <br /> the wall. According to Mr. Mancha, quaternary ammonia was used on the floors to clean and the crystals could be <br /> from the residue. <br /> Packaging Room F1: <br /> -Quaternary ammonia compounds were used to clean the floors. A white crystal/powder substance covered the <br /> floor. <br /> Employee Break Room F2: <br /> -Quaternary ammonia compounds were used to clean the floors. A white crystal/powder substance covered the <br /> floor. <br /> Locker Room F2: <br /> -A white crystal/powder substance covered the floor. <br /> -Five spray bottles containing an unknown liquid were observed in one of the lockers. <br /> -According to Mr. Mancha, the employees were unexpectedly"let go." Many of the lockers had locks on them and <br /> were not inspected. A hazardous waste determination needs to be made for any contents inside the rest of the <br /> locker. <br /> Maintenance Room (F2): <br /> -Six lead acid batteries were observed on a shelf. <br /> Main Hallway Storage Room (F2): <br /> -A flammable cabinet contained: <br /> Two 5 gallon buckets labeled Gear Lubricant(full). <br /> Two boxes containing several tubes labeled "DAP"(full). <br /> Four 1 gallon paint cans(full). <br /> Laboratory(F2): <br /> -Two Peracetic Acid Test Reagent kits(located in cabinets). <br /> -Four 500 milliliter bottles(full)labeled Sodium Thiosulfate, 0.1 N (located inn cabinets). <br /> -Multiple ChemStation chemicals on the counter. One 1 L bottle(full)was labeled"Sodium Hydroxide, 1.ON. <br /> -One 5 gallon bottle (full)labeled Sodium Hydroxide Solution 1 N. <br /> -One 1 gallon bottle(1/2 full)labeled Sulfuric Acid was observed in the fume hood. <br /> -Beneath the fume hood there was a storage area labeled "Chemical Waste from Lab Experiments." Inside the <br /> storage area were three 1 gallon plastic containers, one 5 gallon plastic container, and two smaller plastic bottles <br /> (less than '/2 a pint). None of the labels on the containers were able to be read. A pile of fine white powder was <br /> located on a tray next to the chemicals. <br /> -One the counter there was one 250 milliliter flask(1/2 full)containing a white fluid.
