(ESE) is <br /> pleased; to offer this cost estimate for one quarter of groundwater monitoring of the . <br /> three groundwater monitoring wells located ' at the above referenced site. The <br /> purpose of the quarterly monitoring is to assess the potential migration of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons in groundwater beneath the site. <br /> Groundwater -monitoring was previously performed by Weiss Associates (WA) <br /> during a subsurface investigation conducted at the site on October 16, 1987. We will <br /> include the groundwater monitoring results from WA in our monitoring report. The <br /> following table outlines our recommended analytical ,program: <br /> Monitoring Well Identification TPPH and BTE&X by-EPA. Test Method 8240 <br /> MW-1 X <br /> MW-2 X u <br /> MW-3 X <br /> TPPH: '!Total purgeable .petroleum hydrocarbons. <br /> BTE&X: Benzene. toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes. <br /> �Water level measurements, purging, and sampling of the monitoring wells will <br /> be performed according to the standard operating procedures presented in Appendix <br /> A. <br /> i <br />
