204 Lodi Ave. Chronology
Page 2
7194 The "Final Remediation Plan" for soil vapor extraction and air
sparging was completed.
5117-19195 SW1 & SW2 were installed about 25' northeast and southwest of
the former UST location, with screened intervals of 68.5'-73.5' &
70'-75' below surface.
7195 Soil vapor extraction/air sparge system were installed using MW1 &
RW1 for vapor extraction and SW1 & SW2 for air sparging.
8195 The remediation system was started.
3113196 B9 & B10 were drilled to investigate the areaq of remediation. B10
had contamination at 45'.
7131/96 Soil probes P1 , P2, P3 with soil samples collected. P1 was located
in the tank pit and evidenced soil contamination at 40' below
surface. P2 was located about 10' north of the former UST location
and evidenced soil contamination to 50' below surface. P3 was
located about 10' west of the former UST location and evidenced
low level contamination at 40' and 50' below surface, but was ND
at 55' below surface.
2126197 Soil probes P4 &P5 with soil samples collected. P4 was located
about 20' northeast of the former UST location and evidenced low
level contamination at 15' and 20' below surface, and was ND at
25' and 45' below surface. P5 was located about 5' north of the
former UST location and evidenced contamination to 50' below
surface, but was ND at 55' below surface.
515197 Closure report completed. Significant reduction in groundwater
contamination. All wells were ND except MW1 which had 51 ppb of
TPH-g and .54 ppb Xylene. It is no longer cost effective to
continue remediation.
10/15/97 Quarterly report for July 1997. All wells ND for BTEX & TPH-g
except MW1 with 190 ppb TPH-g, .35 ppb Benzene, .33 ppb
Toluene, 2.5 ppb Ethyl-benzene, 6.2 ppb Xylene. Oxygenates and
volatile organic compounds analyzed for using EPA methods
8015m and 8260. Only DCA over MCL or action level for
