The initial investigation will <br /> include drilling three soil borings to depths of <br /> approximately 10 to 15 feet and c llecting soil samples . <br /> The borings will be performed within the area of the former <br /> underground storage tank cavity. Subsequent work will <br /> include the excavation and removal of contaminated soil . <br /> The provisions set forth in this Health and Safety Plan <br /> will apply to the employees of Roger Foott Associates , Inc . , <br /> and its subcontractors :working on this project . The <br /> subcontractors may elect to modify these provisions , but <br /> only to upgrade or increase the safety requirements , and <br /> only with the concurrence of Roger Foott Associates , Inc . , <br /> as designated and accepted in writing . <br /> This Health and Safety Plan addresses the expected <br /> potential hazards that ,may be encountered for this project . <br /> Field activities are planned to begin on January 4, 1991 , <br /> with the duration estimated at approximately 1 to 2 days . <br /> If changes in site or working conditions occur as the <br />
