21 June 2019 AdvancedGeo
AGE Project No. 19-4745 E n v i ro n rri e n t a l
Page 3 of 14 ~Z.
3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY
Based on information provided by the property owner, the septic system was pumped
and cleaned due to a blockage in January 2019. However, the septic tank was unable to
be located at that time. Therefore, a video camera was used at the septic connection to
locate the tank. The tank was located in the approximate location depicted in Figure 2.
No other repairs have been conducted since 2006.
3.4. EXISTING SEPTIC TANK USAGE IN THE GENERAL AREA
Neighboring properties are primarily residential- and commercial-zoned land. The
adjoining properties to the north and east are the Stockton Diverting Canal and
agricultural land, respectively. The properties to the south and west are occupied by
commercial businesses. Several liquid waste permits are on record at the EHD for
installation of septic systems surrounding the site property.
3.5. GENERAL AREA SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY
The following is a summary of information based on new septic system installation permits
currently on file with EHD. The permit history of neighboring properties indicated the
potential of GOOD leaching. Additional leaching capacity was required to be installed in
some of the properties researched. This may have been due to smaller septic systems
installed prior to current San Joaquin County septic codes or because of fine-grained
lithology.
ADDRESS: 4445 East Fremont Street
LOCATION: 0.25 miles south of property
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Permit dates 1968 and 1991; new construction and destruction of
septic system.
ADDRESS: 4343 East Fremont Street
LOCATION: 0.20 miles south of property
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Permit dates 1967, 1968 and 1981; new construction of septic system
and repairs.
ADDRESS: 4201 East Fremont Street
LOCATION: 0.25 miles south of property
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Permit dates 1980 and 2007; new construction of septic system,
repairs and upgrades.
ADDRESS: 4003 East Fremont Street
LOCATION: 0.25 miles southwest of property
SEPTIC SYSTEM: Permit date 1951; new construction of septic system.
