SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Suzan Nihad to conduct <br /> a Soil Suitability Study for her property located at 6599 East Foppiano Lane, Stockton, <br /> California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> A minor subdivision is proposed to divide the Site into two parcels (Plate 2). Ms. Nihad <br /> indicated that she may build more houses on the Site; no other changes to the use of <br /> the Site are planned (personal communication, April 24, 2018). <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site consists of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 086-410-20, 5.41 acres in size. It <br /> is located at 6599 East Foppiano Lane, Stockton, California. The Site is a wooded and <br /> landscaped residential property with two houses, a garage, and three storage buildings <br /> (Plate 3). A domestic well provides water to the Site. <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 45 feet above mean sea level (Plate 4). The Site is relatively flat. <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> LOGE 1816 Page 1 <br />
