( ) 15. AMMONIA SYSTEMS. <br /> A. Required inspections during installation for <br /> compliance with the approved plans, specifications and <br /> applicable codes. <br /> B. All persons engaged in welding of pipes shall hold a <br /> valid certificate of competency from a recognized <br /> testing laboratory, based on the requirements of the <br /> A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX. <br /> Copies of such certificates shall be submitted with <br /> the final declaration. <br /> C. Verifying high pressure vessel certifications and <br /> witnessing of required pressure tests prior to the <br /> system being loaded with ammonia. <br /> D. Declaration. A dated declaration of test shall be <br /> provided for systems containing 55 pounds (25 kg) or <br /> more of refrigerant. The declaration shall give the <br /> name and number designation of the refrigerant and the <br /> field test pressure applied to the high side and the <br /> low side of the system. The declaration of test shall <br /> be signed by the installer and submitted to the A.A. <br /> prior to charging the system. <br /> ( ) 16. MEDICAL GAS SYSTEMS. <br /> A. All persons engaged in brazing of pipes shall hold a <br /> valid Certificate of Competency from a recognized <br /> laboratory, based on the requirements of the A.S.M.E. <br /> Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX. Copies <br /> of such certificates shall be submitted with the <br /> System Certification. <br /> B. 1323.0 System Certification. <br /> 1323.1 Prior to any medical gas system being <br /> placed in service, each and every system shall be <br /> certified, as described in Section 1323.2 This <br /> certification shall be accomplished by an independent <br /> third party certification agency which is approved by <br /> the Administrative Authority. <br /> ( ) 17.
