Proiect Number 1804BK04 March 22 2007
MW-14BB: This well is located along South Washington Street, between East Oak and east
Walnut Streets. This well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September
2006. PCE has been detected intermittently at concentrations ranging from 1.0 µg/L to 1.8 µg/l_
during this time period. Detected concentrations of PCE in this well are low. In addition, PCE
has been reported as non-detect in this well since December 2004. As it is likely that PCE will
continue to be reported as non-detect in this well, it is proposed that this well be sampled on an
annual basis instead of a quarterly basis.
MW-15BB: This well is located along South Sacramento Street, just south of West Lodi
Avenue. This well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006.
PCE has been reported as non-detect during this time period. As it is likely that PCE will
continue to be reported as non-detect in this well, it is proposed that this well be sampled on an
annual basis instead of a quarterly basis.
MW-16BB: This well is located south of the southern end of the PCE plume core along South
Main Street. This well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September
2006. PCE has been detected at concentrations ranging from 2.7 µg/L to 5.0 µg/L during this
time period. As this well monitors the area south of the PCE plume core, it should continue to
be monitored on a quarterly basis.
MW-17BB: This well is located along South Stockton Street, south of West Lodi Avenue. This
well has been sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has been
reported as non-detect during this time period. As it is likely that PCE will continue to be
reported as non-detect in this well, it is proposed that this well be sampled on an annual basis
instead of a quarterly basis.
MW-18BB: This well is the southern-most groundwater monitoring well, located along South
Main Street near East Flora Street. This well has been sampled quarterly from September 2005
through September 2006. PCE has been reported as non-detect during this time period. It is
likely that PCE will continue to be reported as non-detect in this well. However, this well is the
most downgradient well in the monitoring well network. As such, it is proposed that this well be
sampled on a semi-annual basis instead of a quarterly basis.
MW-19BB: This well is located along North Main Street between East Pine and East Oak
Streets. This well has been sampled quarterly from September 2005 through September 2006.
PCE has been detected at concentrations ranging from 21 pg/L to 290 pg/L during this time
period. As this well monitors a portion of the PCE plume core, it should continue to be
monitored on a quarterly basis.
DW-1 BB: This deeper well is located along East Pine Street adjacent to wells MW-1 BB and
MW-7BB, which monitor the northern portion of the PCE plume core. This well has been
sampled quarterly from January 2004 through September 2006. PCE has been reported as
non-detect during this time period. As it is likely that PCE will continue to be reported as non-
detect in this well and because it monitors deeper groundwater beneath the northern plume core
area, it is proposed that this well be sampled on a semi-annual basis instead of a quarterly
basis.
EZC Remediation 4
